St. Vincent de Paul Hamper Appeal
Christmas can be the most wonderful time of year for some, and the most worrying for others. The students of GCC are looking for donations of non perishable food for food hampers for St Vincent De Paul this Christmas. If parents could spare 1 item to take to school to help make hampers for people in our community who will need some support this Christmas it would be greatly appreciated. We have several collection points throughout the school to place items into. GCC School Chaplain.

Focus of the Week
On a weekly basis the school identifies one particular area of focus for the week ahead and this message is delivered to students on Friday mornings in tutorials in advance of the week ahead. This identified area is the focus for the week which helps to ensure a consistent approach from all staff members and a clear message to students. Please note our area of focus for the week beginning Monday 13 December is punctuality and being on time for school and for all classes. We are asking all our students to take pride in their punctuality and attendance records. To this end we have asked all staff members to encourage and acknowledge students’ efforts to be punctual for classes. Class Teachers highlighted this message to students at tutorials this morning and Year Heads will emphasize the message again at weekly assemblies.
We hope you have a nice weekend
