GCC End of Term Message
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all members of our school community—students, staff, and parents—for their continued support and commitment throughout what has been a very busy and successful first term. The Board of Management Agreed Report, shared below, highlights the breadth of excellent work taking place across the school, particularly in the areas of Teaching & Learning and School Planning.
We are especially proud of our students for their enthusiastic engagement with their studies and their cooperation with school policies and procedures, which together help promote a positive and productive learning environment. We would also like to acknowledge the important role played by our Year Heads, Class Teachers, Subject Teachers, SNAs, and the Pastoral Care Team. Their ongoing support and commitment have contributed significantly to maintaining a caring and supportive school environment. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved rest and takes the opportunity to recharge over the mid-term break.

Glanmire Community College Research Study – 2nd Year Maths
Enhancing Algebra Teaching and Learning in Irish Classrooms: Implementing the Algebra Screener as a Formative Assessment Tool.

GCC WSE-MLL Report
Please click on the link to view the WSE-MLL report following our inspection back in March. While much of the information in the report was shared during the feedback sessions with the lead inspectors in April, it is important to acknowledge the strong performance of the school across all areas of the inspection. GCC continues to perform at a consistently high level, driven by our exceptional staff, our wonderful students and the commitment of our parents to the school.
