Congratulations to GCC student Mia Furlong 5th Year Rang Ornait who is currently representing Ireland at the 2019 FIBA U18 European Championships Division B in Skopje, North Macedonia. The U-18 Irish team has played 5 games to date winning 3 (versus Austria, Slovakia and the hosts North Macedonia) and losing 2 (to Greece and Romania). 

Ireland’s next game in the competition is tomorrow Friday 12 July versus Luxembourg. We wish Mia and all her team mates continued success in the tournament.
