Dear GCC Parents and Students,

We hope all our GCC students and families have had a relaxing and enjoyable Summer break to date. As the return to school quickly approaches, we want to provide parents and students with information on how to collect your stationery packs for the academic year head. You will recall that last year, student stationery packs were available for collection during August in Ryan’s Supervalu Glanmire. We are delighted that similar arrangements are in place again this year.

We are grateful to Ryan’s Supervalu Glanmire for their role in supporting the school and ensuring maximum efficiency and convenience for parents. To this end, we have added two additional collections slots [one morning and one evening] to help support parents. Please see below the dates, times and procedures involved.

Parents are asked to note the following:

Stationery packs are available for parents to collect in Supervalu Glanmire on the following dates:

Day Time
Tuesday 18 August 9am – 12noon
Wednesday 19 August 6pm – 8pm
Thursday 20 August 9am – 12noon
Friday 21 August 6pm – 8pm
Monday 24 August 9am – 12noon
Tuesday 25 August 6pm – 8pm
  • Parents are asked to note that packs cannot be collected outside these dates and times.
  • Stationary packs can be collected from the Community Room upstairs in Supervalu.
  • Give the name of your child/children and you will be given your pack(s).
  • Packs can only be collected by a parent and you can only collect packs for your own child/children.
  • You will be required to sign when collecting packs.
  • All packs are organised as per Department of Education school books allocation for each year group. Information on this was provided to parents on Friday 29 May. Please see below.
  • Any issues regarding stationery packs are to be directed to the office in Glanmire Community College.
