TY Trip to Amsterdam

We would like to welcome home our TY students and staff [Tour 2] who returned from Amsterdam last night. We would once again like to thank all our teachers who accompany our students on these trips and ensure that our students can avail of these type of wonderful opportunities.

TY Parents are reminded that with both school tours completed, it is intended to limit the number of TY activities and events to the scheduled times on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons so that students can engage in consistent programmes of work in preparation for 5th Year.

Review of the Week 17 – 21 April

GCC Past Pupils band “IRIS”  – New Single 

Congratulations to IRIS who are releasing a double single this Friday 29 April  titled “Double”.  The band members (Zoe Callanan, Lucy Dolan, Lucey Moriarty, Laoise O’Brien & Aisling O’Connell) all graduated from GCC in 2022 and drummer Iain Healy graduated from GCC in 2021. They are well on their way to music greatness.

Proper forward planning is essential to give GCC the best opportunity for sustained and continued success. GCC is in the process of developing our school improvement plan for the period September 2023 to December 2026. This plan will provide clear direction for the students, staff and management, as to the agreed priorities for the school over the coming years.
