Gaeilge 24 is an initiative organized by Conradh na Gaeilge which encourages students to speak Gaeilge both inside and outside the classroom for a full 24 hours. Over 50 first year students are registered to take part in the initiative on Tuesday 13th November. Students participating will wear a t-shirt over their uniform. Students will be in class for a proportion of the day. Activities will also take place to encourage students to speak as Gaeilge.
These activities are as follows:
08:55 – 9:35 – C Block Social Area

Students will be given t-shirt, wrist band, phrases and will have breakfast
09:35-10:15 – Home Ec Room (B Block)/ Demo room

Half of the students will cook biscuits as Gaeilge/ Other half will watch short movies as Gaeilge
