3rd yr home economics students conquered their food and culinary skills examination last week. 64 students cooked 128 dishes collectively across 5 days of activity. Ms Coy & Ms McKenna guided all students throughout the process, from research, preparatory work and pre-practicals. Students high level of skill, care and attention to detail flourished on the day.
Coupled with the practical exam, students also submitted a support project ranging from hand embroidered canvas boards & cushions to detailed childcare investigations. As a result students have already scaled 50% of their junior certificate assessment.
